  I promised the helpful young lad I'd leave a review: here we go.
  Visited the beach here on four occasions over the 11 days at a nearby caravan park. Myself and 2 teenage daughters hired a stand up board for an hour, and on a later visit 3 single kayaks.
  The lady at the hire tent was ever so helpful and friendly and chatty. We were able to pay cash or card or PayPal...and the simple data form took seconds to fill in. The £10 also got us wet suits which we could keep for the whole day! We loved that because we went out for swims later and jumping off the pier. The suits were clean, dry, in good order and fit well. So that was impressive. On the second day we had to wait an hour for the kayaks but she let us have the suits early for a swim! How cool is that?
  The guy who launched us was just as brilliant. Chatty and friendly but also thorough and professional. The hour started once out on the water, so no kicking heels as he went through a few basic rules and helped us feel at ease. We were allowed pretty much to do as we pleased but what was good was we also knew he was being very vigilant. He and his young apprentice wee on the lookout constantly and would regularly jump in the boat and perform a quick sweep of the bay, nodding at us and giving us a thumbs up.
  On the second occasion we were in fact out there for 90 minutes because no one was in the queue. You don't get that these days very often.
  As I said to the team: best 30 quid I spent in a long time. So well done. Well be back. Highly recommended.
